Infant Ministry (0-4 year olds and their parents)
mainly music A fun, interactive music and dance session for young children aged 0-5 and their parents/caregivers. Includes morning tea and an opportunity for fellowship for children and parents. Tuesdays 9.30am - 11.00am. Phone Kylie on 83900590 for more information.
Playgroup Playgroup caters for pre-school aged children and is held at St Michael's Lutheran School gym (Bukatila) on Friday morings during school terms. Please contact the school 8388 7228 for more information.
Seedlings (beginning in August) An active and fun program of music and art for 2-4 year olds during the Saturday 6pm (SMS) Service and the 10.30am Sunday Service on the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. Children's Ministry (4-12 year olds)
Our childrens ministry is using the Faith Inkabators program "Biblesong" - a program of fun, learning, song, art and drama for primary school aged children. Biblesong sessions occur during the Saturday 6pm (SMS) Service and the 10.30am Sunday Service on the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. On the 2nd and 4th weekends, children are provided with activity and colouring in sheets, as well as the opportunity to borrow a book from our Borrowing Library.
1st Weekend - Biblesong class – Theme of the Month
2nd Weekend - Kid friendly worship with either Family Service with involvement from the school, or children’s address, and ‘Biblesong’ theme song. Children's activity/colouring-in sheets, and the borrowing library at the back of the church for children during services.
3rd Weekend - Biblesong class – Art Attack
4th Weekend - Kid friendly worship (same as 2nd Weekend)
5th Sunday - (only 3-4 times/year)Combined Biblesong Service where the whole congregation joins together as one family, and children participate in the worship service.
Junior Youth Group (JYG) (school years 5-7)
For young people in years 5-7. Meeting monthly for a variety of fun activities including 'Messy Games', Project nights, Challenge nights, and the annual "Amazing Race".
Senior Youth Group (SYG) (years 8+)
